As we cross over the halfway point for 2023, Reydon Sports are continuing to evolve as a B2B wholesaler in many areas across the retail sector with a number of fantastic updates from the company.
The start of the year saw Reydon attend the London Toy Fair 2023 in January, showcasing their exclusive distribution for NERF & Franklin with full support from Hasbro UK; an innovative hybrid range consisting of sport and toy. The 30+ SKU launch and first time exhibiting for Reydon showcased a superb set of sporting product lines which fit perfectly into any Toy, Sport, Leisure & Multiple retailer.
Overall trade across the many sectors we sell to has flourished once again despite a slower start to the year for many. After the COVID & Brexit curveballs of 2021/22, shipping complications made all its efforts to disrupt Reydon’s service & offering to our large Irish customer base, however the company has continued to work closely with courier partners and brands to resolve major sticking points, allowing business to operate as usual. With a minimum order spend in place for Ireland, customers can buy seamlessly without any hassle and with full duties paid.
With ‘A’ brands such as Canterbury, Mitre, Speedo, NERF, Adidas, Waboba, Trespass and hundreds more ALL available at the click of a button, Reydon continue to supply the industry with a vast offering of product.
Reydon also continues to develop their own brands including Precision Training for this year and beyond. The launch of a Precision retail-focused website last year was a fantastic milestone for the brand, allowing end consumers to locate their nearest retail partner who distributes the brand.
Urban Fitness, the second biggest own brand for Reydon has also seen continued a bounceback in success after the lockdown events in previous years, securing deals into flagship retail partners across the globe. Despite the fitness market experiencing periods of saturation and overstocks, Reydon are continuing to support the retail industry with a full offering of basic & advanced equipment. Yoga Mats, Skipping ropes to Weights and Massage Therapy.
Reydon earlier in June also exhibited at the Outdoor Trade Show in Liverpool in June for the second time, looking to explore opportunities in that sector with their newly developed own brands Six Peaks Outdoor and Swimtech Open Swim. Launching with a minimal amount of basic product SKUs, Swimtech, a 20+ piece brand now offers the most innovative ‘on-trend’ Water Sports products available on the market. From Parka Robes & Ponchos to Goggles & Swimsuits, Reydon have the products & pricing in place to elevate market share for Open Swim & Water Sports inside the world of Retail. Six Peaks Outdoor also launched for this year, a 25+ SKU offering of Outdoor products. From thermal gloves, neck warmers, phone holders, running vests, lanterns, torches and power banks, all in stock now for retailers.
For those existing customers who use the Reydon B2B website, a number of exciting updates continue to be rolled out. A ‘COMING SOON’ section allows customers to look into the future 3 months ahead and plan their buying accordingly, viewing which ranges are coming soon into stock. The ‘NEW IN’ section then complements it, showcasing all of the latest ranges that have landed and are booked into stock available for customers to buy. Along with new sections and categories, speed & navigation across the site continues to be improved to give customers the best user experience possible.
The second half of 2023 for Reydon looks to be even more exciting as the team recruit further members in Sales & Buying in order to handle the commercial growth.
