4GLOBAL, a leading sports data analysis and consultancy firm, is delighted to announce that Kerstin Obenauer will join the company as the new Chief Customer Officer.
Kerstin will lead 4GLOBAL’s Account Management and Delivery team, to help guide the development of key growth strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. The role of CCO is new to 4Global but will play a pivotal role in ensuring the future successful growth of the company.
Kerstin joins 4GLOBAL from the global fitness technology firm EGYM, based in Munich, Germany, where she held the position of UK Country Director.
She is an experienced marketing, operations and sales executive with a demonstrable track record in forming and leading world-class sales organisations and multi-disciplined management teams in high growth and early-stage health technology companies, including as the founder and director of ‘makesports GmbH’.
She has worked in multiple health care and fitness organisations along the health value chain, and has an agile, innovative, and pragmatic mindset acquired during her time spent working in start-up and scale-up environments.
With 20 years of business development, operations, and sales experience in the health and fitness industry across Germany and the UK, Kerstin is uniquely qualified to steer 4GLOBAL through its expansion.
4GLOBAL is known for its Datahub and Social Value Calculator products, which allow leisure operators, municipal authorities and governments to map access to sport and leisure sites in real-time, allowing for deep insights into customer behaviour and interests, and for investment to be targeted where it’s needed the most.
4GLOBAL also works in consultancy for major sporting events, from the London Summer Olympics in 2012 right through to the 2022 Women’s Euros taking place in England this summer.
Kerstin Obenauer said: “I am thrilled to join 4Global at a time of such exciting growth. When meeting with the company, it was clear that we share the same mindset and vision. We know the crucial roles both physical activity and sport play in improving people’s lives. I look forward to making sure 4GLOBAL is the company that works worldwide to help deliver them.”
Eloy Mazon, CEO of 4GLOBAL, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Kerstin to the team. We’re seeing strong growth and expansion, both in Europe and North America, and Kerstin’s expertise will allow us to scale upwards in both our services and our ambition to become the world’s leading consultancy in sports data and major events.”
