
Activinstinct has been propelled into the Sunday Times Tech Track 100, a list of the 100 fastest growing technology companies, as a result of a four-fold increase in sales in the past four years.
The online sports retailer’s turnover has grown from £2.1million in 2006 to £8.3million in 2010, far outstripping the UK online retail growth rate.
This outstanding pace of growth is due to the company’s skilful targeting of a specialised market not adequately served by the high street multiples, its employment of ambitious web marketing strategies, innovative technology and a detailed approach to customer profiling.
Activinstinct is forecasting a doubling of the size of its business over the next three-four years, exceptional figures in a market dominated by the large and well-established sports discount e-tailers.
