Adam Parker moves on from the Amateur Swimming Association

The Amateur Swimming Association has announced that Chief Executive Adam Paker has decided to move on from the organisation having led it through a period of change.
Mike Farrar, Chairman of the ASA Group Board, said: “Adam leaves a strong legacy for the ASA to build on and we wish him every success in the future.
“We would like to thank him for his contribution which, amongst other achievements, includes reversing declining participation numbers for swimming, encouraging greater diversity, promoting a new insight-led approach, and strengthening relationships between the ASA and its major stakeholders – particularly through his creation and chairmanship of the Swim Group.”

ASA Chief Operating Officer, Jane Nickerson, will be taking on the role of interim CEO.
