Amer Sports is moving its UK and Ireland operation to new headquarters in December, bringing together for the first time the management, sales and marketing of the Salomon, Wilson, Precor, Atomic, Suunto, Bonfire and Mavic brands under one roof.
The new HQ will be in Frimley, Surrey and features no fewer than seven first-class showrooms, a Precor gym and Wilson golf simulator.
At the same time, Amer Sports is opening a new logistics centre in Irvine, Scotland featuring a modern, UK-specific warehouse, as well as a made-to-measure golf custom fit, logo ball and embroidery facility.
“These new facilities will provide a dynamic, team-driven environment to welcome customers, showcase our latest products and provide an even better level of service across all our brands,” says Michael White, managing director of Amer Sports UK & Ireland.
“Our moving into these new premises coincides with an outstanding year for many Amer Sports brands, in particular Wilson with its continuing winning profile with Roger Federer and the Williams sisters, plus the champion golfer of the year, Padraig Harrington. Now we intend to capitalise on these great results and enhance our market shares in all sectors of the sports equipment market.”
