Aqua Sphere reports sales increase

Aqua Sphere UK has ended 2007 in its strongest position yet, announcing a 50 per cent year-on-year sales increase and healthy organic growth.

Since the brand entered the UK in 2003, high-quality accounts have been strategically acquired and each year the brand has expanded its innovative product range, most recently adding performance swimwear to its goggle and mask essentials to give the UK retailer a comprehensive resource of swim and triathlon products.

With innovation paramount, all Aqua Sphere products are created to deliver optimum user comfort and performance. Now operating its largest ever field sales network, with a team of 12 experienced professionals covering the UK and Ireland, in 2008 the brand will service over 1,500 accounts and is fully committed to supporting the independent sports retailer’s restricted swim space as well as the multi-national. Furthermore, the team will be enhanced this year by professional merchandisers to support visual display and supplement Aqua Sphere’s drive to lead the way in innovative aquatic products.

Since its entry into the UK market five years ago, Aqua Sphere has enjoyed some superb landmark moments, including winning ‘Best Designed Sport Kit’ for its Eagle swimming goggle at the Sport Industry Awards 2006.
