ASICS continues brand awareness drive

With a successful three months of the year behind it and the busy sporting months approaching, including the AW11 launch, ASICS’ is continuing its investment in its brand awareness campaign at both a national and local level.

The 2011 global brand campaign not only features in key running and fitness press as well as online, but also in local and national newspapers, premium Virgin Active and Fitness First gyms across the UK, and for the first time in the UK, on television during key sporting programming.

The campaign, called ‘Running releases more than just sweat’, illustrates the concept that running and sports in general help release stress.

The campaign has been created on ASICS’ founding principle ‘Anima Sana in Corpore Sano’, an acronym that forms the company’s name and means ‘a sound mind in a sound body’.

Point of sale materials, including window displays, are available to order through ASICS ONLINE, but these are in high demand, so be sure to request them while you can.

The trade marketing team at ASICS are working with selected retailers as part of ongoing joint marketing activities and initiatives around the global brand campaign.
