
The January-June results were driven by strong performances in the brand’s running, tennis and lifestyle categories.
Specifics released by ASICS include:
• Sales in women’s running apparel increased by 12 per cent and women’s running footwear by 14 per cent.
• Tennis apparel sales grew 30 per cent. Tennis footwear sales increased by 21 per cent.
• ASICS Tiger footwear enjoyed a triple digit sales increase.
• Single digit growth was achieved in Germany, Italy, France and Denmark.
• Norway, Sweden, Austria, Poland, Benelux and Russia recorded double digit sales figures.
• Sales in ASICS’ retail stores increased by 27 per cent.
