ASICS has agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with LGN Wellbeing, which organises corporate running clubs in partnership with the likes of BP, Coca-Cola and M&C Saatchi.
Providing expert running training for employees directly from the workplace, LGN (aka Look Good Naked) also arranges and manages running events such as the annual inter advertising industry 5km, in conjunction with industry charity patron NABS.
Under the agreement, ASICS will provide input and advice to runners through the ASICS Running Clinics PRO Team, as well as providing expert gait analysis, a 3D foot mapping service and exclusive offers to LGN clients.
“At ASICS we pride ourselves on being a total running company and this LGN sponsorship provides us with a high profile platform with which to actively engage with corporate runners of all levels,” says Eóin Treacy, ASICS UK & Ireland marketing manager.
LGN founder Ben Pochee adds: “LGN is driven by a passion that running is a gift for life and can be for everyone. With ASICS we have a partner who shares our vision and via our corporate run clubs will help make it a running reality.”
