Beyond Sport, a new initiative that aims to unearth and support the world’s most inspirational projects, people and organisations that use sport to drive social change, is calling on all corporations, official rights holders, governing bodies and sports teams to enter the Beyond Sport Awards.
The Beyond Sport Awards reward the entire spectrum of initiatives from grassroots organisations to major corporations and federations that have positively promoted or developed communities through sport. Corporate social responsibility has become vital in the sport-business world and Beyond Sport is seeking to recognise those contributing to positive change by creating a specific awards category for companies using sport as a tool for social good.
Entering the awards is a free and simple process and can be done online at www.beyondsport.org/the-awards/entries/. Shortlisted organisations will receive an invitation to The Beyond Sport Summit (which takes place in London on July 8-9), as well as flights and accommodation during the event, which gives attendees the opportunity to meet with other high-profile sports leaders, world-renowned athletes, corporate heads and social entrepreneurs involved in the effort to instigate change through sport.
