British heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson teams up with Science in Sport

The 22-year-old will work with the nutrition brand’s team of experts on her nutritional plan both in training and competition using SiS’s GO products.

She will also use the company’s new SiS Protein range to support her strength and conditioning work.

Johnson-Thompson represented Great Britain at London 2012 and won pentathlon gold at this year’s European Indoor Championships.

She also holds the British high jump record, with a height of 1.97m.

Ashley Read, marketing director for SiS, says: “We’re delighted to be working with Katarina and she’ll become a key athlete for Science in Sport as we expand into global markets.

“Her insight will be critical in developing innovative new products and we’ll be supporting her immediately with a tailored sports nutrition plan.

“We’ve worked with 42 gold medal winning Olympians, including Sir Chris Hoy and GB Rowing, over the last 15 years and the opportunity to work with a future Team GB Olympic star is something everyone in the business is excited about.”
