Burton McCall has announced a NEW addition to its portfolio of premium
outdoor accessory brands – Pacific Outdoor Equipment
(www.pacoutdoor.com); a US based manufacturer of technically superior,
eco-conscious, lightweight sleeping mats.
Created following research that identified a lack of attention to
‘Fast & Light’, ‘Women’s Specific’ and ‘Eco/Green’ specific sleeping
mats, many of Pacific Outdoor’s class-leading sleeping
mats feature ‘Aspen Aerogel’
insulation technology and ‘Multiple Axis Cross Core’ cushioning –
offering significant weight savings without compromising performance.
Available in a variety of shapes, sizes, colours and styles, the mats
are designed to cater uniquely for the differing shapes (and
insulation needs) of men, women and children – as well as for the
diverse pack weight / volume requirements of differing outdoor activities.
All Pacific Outdoor Equipment products are made at the company’s
in-house research, development and manufacturing facility (which helps
to speed up development while reducing costs), and are made using a
minimum waste, environmentally conscious manufacturing process.
Products are built with durability and the environment in mind; using
PVC and CFC free rip-stop fabrics and materials, welded seams, hard
anodized (recycled) aluminium valves, recycled PET, and palm oil –
which is ecologically superior to crude oil based products. Products
are then subject to a stringent quality control process before being
shipped using a carbon neutral shipping programme.
