Buxton Adventure Festival has announced an awesome new line-up of athletes and adventurers from the world of mountaineering, ultra-running, climbing, and cycling. There’s something to inspire and entertain everyone, and tickets are on sale now.

BAF is a monthly series of events, each one featuring a main speaker, a support speaker, a short film and stunning photography. After a summer break BAF returns with an awesome line-up of athletes and adventurers from the world of mountaineering, ultra-running, climbing, and cycling.
Patagonia, A Love Affair: An evening with Leo Dickinson and Eric Jones
On 17 September, they host an evening with award winning mountaineering filmmaker Leo Dickinson. As well as sharing personal stories and images from his filmmaking adventures in Patagonia, Leo will discuss mountaineering controversies covered in several of his films. Leo will be joined on stage by epic storyteller Eric Jones, most well-known for the first British solo ascent of the North Face of the Eiger.
Huw Jack Brassington, The Brit Rock Film Tour, and Jenny Graham
As a taste of what else is to come, on 22 October, adventure athlete Huw Jack Brassington will be screening his film Ar Gefn Y Ddraig (Riding the Dragon), and exploring how he would like to look back on his life in his unfiltered talk, Old Man in the Chair. On 19 November, Alastair Lee returns to present the Brit Rock Film Tour 2019, and, on December 10, they end the year with world record breaking Jenny Graham, Riding Around the World in 124 Days.
