Canterbury confirms latest ambassador

Australian utility back James O’Connor (pictured) is to become an endorsee of the brand’s range of rugby and lifestyle clothing.

O’Connor made his debut for Western Force in 2008 aged 18, making him at the time the youngest ever Super Rugby debutant.

He went on to make his debut for the Wallabies the same year and to date has made 44 appearances for his country.

At the end of 2013 he signed a contract with Heineken Cup holders Toulon for the 2014/15 season.

“James is entering an exciting and important phase in his career as he joins the European elite at Toulon,” Canterbury CEO Chris Stephenson says.

“He is an incredible talent, which will hopefully see him back on the world stage in England next year.”
