CeramicSpeed launch limited edition pink pulley wheels

For a limited time only, CeramicSpeed are offering their highly acclaimed pulley wheels both oversized (OSPW) and standard in a striking pink option.

CeramicSpeed’s OSPW will be ridden by all AG2R La Mondiale in this year’s Giro d’Italia offering the most efficient drivetrain performance on the market thanks to the extremely low friction of the CeramicSpeed bearings and the unique design of the overall system.

The pink pulley wheels will be available in the standard 11-tooth combination and all OSPW combinations. and is compatible with Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo, fitting cassettes of up to 32-tooth*.

All AG2R La Mondiale riders at this year’s Giro d’Italia will be using the limited edition pink OSPW including strong all-rounder Matteo Montaguti, who has previously podiumed in second place at Stage eight of the Giro d’Italia (2016) which involved a gruelling section over the Alpe di Poti consisting of a partly unpaved climb.

Matteo said: “It’s important for me to achieve the smoothest ride possible. With a race as physically demanding as the Giro d’Italia, it’s extremely important to ensure all marginal gains are maximised so we have the best possible chance to triumph in the mountains.”

Matteo will be joined by strong GC and TT rider Alexandre Geniez, who has already had a promising 2018 by winning both the Prologue and overall title at the Tour La Provence, and winning the one-day race Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise. He also showed promising form in the 2015 Giro d’Italia placing an impressive ninth overall.

Alexandre said: “The Giro is such a special race. With the OSPW from CeramicSpeed I have no need to worry about an underperforming drivetrain and, with 21 stages in total, we all have very high demands from our equipment.”
