CIMSPA has partnered with Aspire Active Partnerships, the lead organisation improving children and young people’s participation in sport and physical activity.
This partnership will see the two organisations work closely together, with lots of plans already in the pipeline.
“Aspire are a forward-thinking organisation, bringing together like-minded people from across sport and physical activity.” says Spencer Moore, Director of Strategy at CIMSPA. “Together, CIMSPA and Aspire will be looking at innovative ways of working to set new standards in sport and physical activity services for children and young people. I am looking forward to working with them over the next 12 months.”
“Everyone involved in Aspire Active Partnerships, including the entire Aspire Active Education team and our wider partner network, is delighted to form a strategic partnership with CIMSPA,” says Paul Griffiths, Co-Founder of the Aspire Active Education Group. “We believe that collaboration is key to get more children moving. Physical inactivity is a major problem in society and not one organisation will help combat this. It’s not rocket science… if we have more organisations providing high-quality services, we will have an impact.”
Moving forwards, CIMSPA and Aspire will be:
• Delivering an introductory webinar about the partnership
• Working with Aspire’s consortium to improve engagement in physical activity
• Developing new ways of working together over the next 12 months.
