Having opened the original store, in Hyde, Cheshire, in 1970, Dr Ron Hill, MBE, officially opened Run North West, a specialist running store, and STAG member, now under new ownership.
The store was previously owned by Sweatshop and closed in late 2017.
Ron, the former European, Boston and Commonwealth marathon champion, and Ronhill/Hilly, Brand Ambassador, was delighted to be invited to ‘cut the ribbon’ and was joined on the evening by Olympians, Eilish McColgan and Mike Rimmer.
