Big Zuu’s new British canned natural mineral water, Drip, has announced a new partnership with Hackney Moves festival, home to the Wizz Air Hackney Half.
The collaboration sees the water lifestyle brand celebrate diversity in fitness, as it works to hydrate over 20,000 participants involved across the two-day event, culminating the Wizz Air Hackney Half.
From 18th – 19th May 2024, the festival, which will take place in Hackney, East London, will see Drip supporting a series of inclusive fitness events such as running, boxing and the Hackney School’s Challenge. Hackney Moves is free to attend and brings together elements of culture, music, and fitness within the community – values that are rooted in the Drip brand.
Big Zuu commented: “Drip is a brand born out of community and culture. We wanted to provide a way for people to be hydrated in a sustainable way that felt and looked good to them. The Hackney partnership is perfect for us – good music, good food, good vibes and loads of thirsty people!”
Stephanie Millard, Head of Partnerships, at Motiv Sports UK who organise Hackney Moves, added: “Drip is Hackney Moves in a can. This festival is all about celebrating community, togetherness, culture and fitness. Big Zuu and Drip are the vibes we love and need. We’re excited to announce Drip as our hydration partner.”
The Hackney Moves partnership is one of several high-profile lifestyle initiatives that Drip will be announcing throughout 2024. The activations all form part of Zuu’s mission to transform the way we drink water – encouraging people to ditch the plastic and embrace alternative ways of staying hydrated.
Drip, already stocked in national retailers such as Morrisons and WHSmith, offers a canned alternative to still and sparkling water. The new product is eco-friendly – using aluminium and saving 95% of the energy it would take to make a plastic bottle or carton.
Drip also provides consumers with a heightened hydration experience, by naturally filtering the water through layers of chalk with essential minerals such as calcium and magnesium from deep within England’s South Downs, providing feel good benefits, as well as the ultimate hydration.
