Dryrobe announces two-year partnership with International Winter Swimming Association

Partnership follows successful sponsorship of 2024 Winter Swimming World Championships

Dryrobe, the leading provider of outdoor change robes, has announced a two-year partnership with the International Winter Swimming Association (IWSA).

The partnership cements the brand’s support for the winter swimming community and follows the success of its title sponsorship of the 2024 IWSA Winter Swimming World Championships powered by Dryrobe, which took place in Tallinn, Estonia, in March.

Dryrobe will now become the Official Change Robe of the IWSA and will include Dryrobe becoming a sponsor of the 2025 IWSA Winter Swimming World Cup, with stops in Sweden, Poland, Morocco and more, as well as once again being title sponsor of the 2026 IWSA Winter Swimming World Championships powered by Dryrobe in Oulu, Finland.

The Winter Swimming World Championships is the IWSA’s flagship event, taking place bi-annually and uniting more than 1,500 winter swimmers from across the globe on a mission to conquer the cold.

As the Official Changing Robe of the IWSA, Dryrobe will supply its flagship change robe, the Dryrobe Advance, for all IWSA events where it will be used by competitors including Dryrobe ambassador and world record breaking ice swimmer Bárbara Hernández, known as “The Ice Mermaid.”

Dryrobe founder Gideon Bright said: “We’re very excited to extend our relationship with the IWSA, who like us are passionate about promoting winter swimming and having a positive impact on its global community.

“Our sponsorship of last year’s IWSA Winter Swimming World Championships was a huge success and we’re looking forward to working with the IWSA over the following two years on an expanded brief that will now account for all 2025 and 2026 IWSA organised events, including the 2026 Winter Swimming World Championships.”

Mariia Yrjö-Koskinen, President of the IWSA, added: “The IWSA is very happy about the partnership with Dryrobe®. In August when our last event took place at the Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate, Argentina, every swimmer was wearing a Dryrobe® Advance and it really helped them to manage and enjoy the extreme conditions.

“Our partnership, which includes the 2026 Winter Swimming World Championships in Oulu, is also very valuable as we will celebrate our 20th anniversary in the same city we were founded. It is very special that we will return to our original roots together with Dryrobe.”
