The England team shirt is the most popular football shirt across China, according to a new study of the strength of interest in international football across China by Warwick Business School.
England is also by far Chinese football fans’ most favoured international team, beating Brazil, Argentina and Germany.
Other commonly seen shirts in China, according to the research, include Manchester United, Italy, Argentina, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
