Festival Days introduced for Eurobike 2016

The 25th Anniversary edition of Eurobike, the international bicycle trade show, is launching Festival Days.

Under the slogan ‘Test, Experience, Celebrate’, Eurobike, to be held in Friedrichshafen, Germany, is showing itself in a new light and will open the exhibition grounds to the public on two Festival Days.

Following the three Business Days, which are open to trade visitors and journalists, the Festival Days will offer spectacular bike performances, insights into the scene, and performances by international music stars to cycling enthusiasts, hobby bikers, and those who are simply curious on Saturday, September 3, and Sunday, September 4, in 11 areas.

Klaus Wellmann, CEO of Messe Friedrichshafen said: “The Eurobike is turning 25 and has managed to establish itself as a unique and global summit in the bicycle industry.

“Expressed in figures, this means sheer bicycling excitement in 13 exhibition halls and on more than 100,000 square meters, 46,000 trade visitors, 1700 journalists, and some 35,000 bike fans expected on the weekend.”

Eurobike will take place from August 31 to September 4, 2016.

While the first three days are reserved for retailers and other trade visitors, Saturday and Sunday are dedicated to the new Festival Days.
