Following the success of the original Fight Zone store in Lillywhites, London, the fight based retail concept has extended its UK presence with a new store in Sunderland.
Fight Zone Sunderland provides boxers and mixed martial arts practitioners and fans with the ultimate store proposition, which is also aimed at general fitness fans and gym goers keen to be kitted out in credible, quality kit and clothing.
Fight brands stocked in the 2,500 sq ft Fight Zone in Sunderland include Lonsdale, Everlast, adidas, Tap Out, Title, Venum, UFC, Bad Boy, Rival, Cleto Reyes and Queensberry.
“We have had overwhelming success since the launch of the first Fight Zone in London,” says Lonsdale general manager Ian Campbell.
“We felt the time was right to introduce a standalone version of Fight Zone for the key regions, especially as fight sports continue to grow in popularity.
“Although internet sales dominate the market, there will always be a demand for people to look and try on before they purchase and Fight Zone is perfect for this.
“Fight fans in the north east will be able to access all of the top brands for boxing, MMA, combat sports and sports nutrition under one roof.”
