First dual branded Runners Need and Cycle Surgery store opens outside of London

Spread over two floors, the Bristol store opened for business on October 17.

Following the success of previous projects, the Runners Need side is the company’s seventh partnership location with Nike.

It also sells technical running clothing, footwear and accessories from ASICS, Brooks, Gore, Saucony and Garmin.

The store includes a gait lab, where customers’ running actions can be analysed.

Runners Need and Cycle Surgery are part of the Snow+Rock Group.

CEO Richard Cotter says: “We know that combining the two brands can work well in the right location and Bristol has all the ingredients to be another success.”

Acquired by Snow+Rock in 2010, Runners Need was established in 1982 and has over 30 stores in the UK and Ireland.

Cycle Surgery was set up in 1992. It has 30 shops and a successful ecommerce website.

It was bought by Snow+Rock in 2007.
