Chris Hull of Christopher Hull Sports has been given a special rackets racquet by Grays to commemorate his family’s near century-long patronage of the brand, which still makes the frames in Coton near Cambridge.
Of the Intersport member, Richard Gray, sales and marketing director at Grays, said: “During a thoroughly enjoyable thank you dinner, Chris confirmed that three generations of the Hull family acted as rackets professionals to Tonbridge School for just under 100 year, prior to Chris moving onto run his two shops in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
“Chris also introduced the current professional at Tonbridge, Dave Makey, to the sport and he is now the chairman of the Rackets Professionals Association.
“This makes the Hull family one of Grays’ longest and most loyal supporters and customers – for which we are most grateful.”
