HI-TEC goes feet first

HI-TEC’s SS10 sales and marketing launch (June 15-18) certainly proved to be a full and fun-packed week, topped off by a full day’s training with the ANATOM team, Britain’s leading specialist in footwear and biomechanics training.

The week consisted of product and marketing presentations to launch the company’s new SS10 Outdoor, Athletic and Golf collections, with strong emphasis on HI-TEC’s revolutionary V-Lite and Ion-Mask technology.

Ian Cameron, HI-TEC sales director, says: “It has been a phenomenal week for all the HI-TEC teams with some fantastic and exciting new product on its way for SS10. These are certainly exciting times for HI-TEC with the evolution and growth of the V-Lite and Ion-Mask technologies. The ANATOM training was a key ingredient in maintaining HI-TEC’s continued dedication to our trade customers by ensuring we provide the very best sales service and after-sales care in terms of product knowledge, fit and advice.

“In today’s increasingly competitive marketplace, manufacturers are continuously looking for ways to cut costs, and it is often the independent retailers that are the first to suffer. HI-TEC, however, who have always been known for their personal approach, remain consistent in their support of independent retailers and the specialist outdoor trade. Understanding the changing needs of its broad range of retailers is a constant challenge requiring a range of different support mechanisms. One of HI-TEC’s key principles is a commitment to face-to-face contact. HI-TEC employs a team of territory managers and technical representatives assigned to call on independent retailers regularly, ensuring a constant line of communication and good relations are upheld. In fact, whilst others are cutting back, we are actually adding to the sales team with a couple of new appointments. With the additional training provided by ANATOM we aim to strengthen our 100 per cent commitment to our trade partners.”
