Hytro announce globally renowned clinician James Moore as head of medical

In a statement of intent to become a leading voice in elite performance, Hytro, the first Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) wearable designed specifically to improve sports performance, has announced James Moore as its Head of Medical.

As a globally-recognised consultant physiotherapist, James is co-founder and Director of Sports and Exercise Medicine at CHHP London. James will bring unparalleled experience, gained from working directly with world leading athletes as well as his previous role as Team GB’s Deputy Chef de Mission, to further develop Hytro as the leaders in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) wearables.

James Moore has a worldwide reputation for being at the cutting edge of healthcare that defines successful performance. Having lectured widely on the subject, James will bring his extensive knowledge of BFR to the team and seeks to broaden the reach and education surrounding this method. More specifically, James will be working with Hytro to bring the well-known benefits to elite level coaches, practitioners and physios, while providing strategic and practical advice with product development and market penetration.

James Moore, Head of Medical at Hytro, said: “I have talked about the benefits of BFR with my clients for years – but nobody was bringing this unrivalled method of training to elites and amateurs in an efficient, safe and accessible way. Working with the guys at Hytro, it’s clear that their products will be taking BFR on a shift from expensive kit in elite performance physio rooms and scientific journals to the masses, with one easy product. This brand is revolutionising the recovery and performance market, so I‘m excited to bring the benefits of Hytro to more coaches to help their athletes win.”

Dr Warren Bradley, Founder and Head of Elite Performance at Hytro, added: “Like the rest of the industry, I have known and respected James’ work for a long time, seeing him develop athletes into world champions. We’re delighted to see his enthusiasm for Hytro and we can’t wait to work together to continue this exciting journey to bring the recovery and performance benefits of BFR to a wider audience.”

This news follows previous announcements from Hytro welcoming board advisors Peter McKnight, Coaching and Sport Science Director at Hintsa Performance, along with Yanto Barker, founder and Managing Director of Le Col, and Nikki Doucet, former Nike Senior Exec.
