INDX Sports & Leisure knocks it out of the park for first anniversary show

INDX is set to round out a successful year of trade shows with its Sports & Leisure exhibition on 7-8 December and will feature the show’s largest collection of brands to date.

The event, which is curated by leading buying group AIS, was first introduced to the organisation’s portfolio of specialist trade shows in 2021, and will be celebrating its first birthday in December.

As part of the group’s ongoing commitment to deliver a commercially-minded buying experience, the 2022 edition will feature the largest selection of running, training and performance sports brands to date, including Brooks, Hoka, New Balance and Mizuno.

The show will also offer an opportunity for visitors to network with a range of industry insiders and professionals, with leading members of the Runner Industry Alliance (RIA) set to be in attendance.

Alan Galloway, Head of Sports & Leisure at AIS, said: “As we approach INDX Sports & Leisure’s first birthday, we aim to build upon all the successes and learnings of the past year in our next show.

“It’s our job to remain on the pulse of developments in the industry on behalf of our members, including the trend towards running and training gear. This is something we’ve responded to by welcoming our largest ever selection of brands to date to the exhibition, so we look forward to seeing what new relationships will be born out of the event.”

In its second year of operation, the show aims to consolidate its position as a one-stop-shop for sports and leisure brands, stocking products for running, training, football, rugby, cricket and hockey.

Like all INDX shows, INDX Sports & Leisure is set to take place at the organisation’s dedicated exhibition facility, Cranmore Park, in Solihull. The site’s central location, free parking and complimentary refreshments have made INDX shows a key meeting point for retailers, welcoming over 6500 every year.
