
INTERSPORT has announced it will be the official shirt sponsor of Olympique de Marseille from the 2012/13 football season.
The INTERSPORT logo will be seen on the front of the club’s shirts during French championship matches, as well as for Europa League and Champions League games.
The shirts will continue to be supplied by adidas, whose logo will be featured on them, but from next August and for the next two seasons the INTERSPORT logo will replace that of Bet Clic.
In addition, an integrated marketing package will give INTERSPORT more visibility on the pitch, on TV and in the printed and online media.
Olympique de Marseille has the largest number of fans among French football clubs – a total of 14 million – and sells the highest number of replica shirts – an average of 400,000 per season over the last two years.
