Joymo scores English Indoor Bowling Association streaming deal

Leading sports streaming platform, Joymo, has been selected by the English Indoor Bowling Association (EIBA) as the organisation’s Exclusive Broadcast Partner.

The new multi-year partnership will see Joymo provide the streaming platform for selected EIBA competitions and events from late-March onwards, giving fans of the sport the opportunity to watch live or on-demand, in the UK and around the world.
Discussing the partnership, Peter Thompson, Chief Executive of EIBA, said: “This is a significant partnership for the future of indoor bowls England as we seek to grow participation and increase membership in our clubs. Making our competitions and events available to an online audience not only helps us to provide an excellent sporting experience for new and existing players but will make the sport far more engaging for the wider community.

“Now Indoor Bowls enthusiasts can watch competitions from any part of the country from the convenience of their own home, while players can watch their matches and share their experiences with family and friends. We are excited by the opportunity this provides to the sport, and its participants, nationwide.”

Founded in Norway in late-2017, Joymo offers remote broadcasting solutions that enable federations, leagues and clubs to film or livestream training, matches, events or competitions in a safe, secure way.
In the last 18 months, Joymo has successfully launched into the UK and Ireland and has partnerships in place with multiple sport governing bodies, broadcasting thousands of hours of competitive sport.

Mike Emery, CEO of Joymo, said: “Joymo exists to empower sports organisers and participants – at all levels – by providing them with the tools, resources and technology to broadcast directly to their fans and make sure that they never miss a moment of the sport they love.

“We are thrilled to support the English Indoor Bowling Association and will be working closely with them to unlock and realise the value of their events by making domestic competitions available to fans to watch anytime and anywhere with Joymo.”
