Kappa brings creativity to clubs with iconic kit designs and heavy sports team investment

Kappa’s UK & Ireland Teamwear business has undergone exciting changes, with a significant investment in its sport partnership list. This investment goes beyond just adding teams as it aims to establish a cultural and community-focused brand connection with partners, showcasing the unique flair of the creative heritage brand.

To kick the season off, Kappa have again partnered with Bromley FC, the heroes of Hayes Lane who gear up for the 23/24 season in an impressive team kit inspired by local legend David Bowie.

After discussing plans and aspirations of the club in the coming season, the Kappa team have run with the feeling of home grown talent and local grit in the designs of it’s upcoming Home and Away kits, with a creative approach that looks back on designs from the past to re-imagine the historic designs of the future.

The new season Home shirt will see elements from the traditional coat of arms granted to the borough, that includes a quartered design and some heraldic iconography and patterns. Whilst the Away shirt, builds on the David Bowie narrative that was well received by fans previously, to really explore his iconic play with colour and 80’s designs. Each shirt will be proudly emblazoned with ‘WE ARE BROMLEY’ on the back above the players name.

Bromley FC’s management team highlighted the team’s ambitions following a successful season, stating: “Our First Team aims for promotion after a record points finish and a spot in the National League Promotion Semi-Finals last season. With a strong squad of committed players, we’re looking forward to having Kappa as part of our prospects on and off the pitch for the season ahead.”
