The creative comms agency has been briefed by Kathmandu to bring its southern hemisphere charm to the UK and Irish market, focusing on both traditional media and emerging social and YouTube publishers. Kathmandu are a staple of the outdoor scene in Australia and New Zealand; and after more than 30 years, they are ventured north to Europe as they bring their high spec but quintessentially easy-going and accessible product lines to the market.
Brandnation begin their work with the campaign, Winter. We’re Out There. The product range of this season captures the energetic, spirited and adventurous nature that the changing season brings. The creative around the campaign reaffirms Kathmandu’s belief that it’s not about what you do in the outdoors, but how the outdoors makes you feel – and Brandnation are responsible for transferring this to their British Isles cousins.
The PR team will be further responsible for developing Kathmandu’s media communications strategy, handling all product launches and testing opportunities; international experiential, and managing the ever-increasing demand for consumer products which are from sustainably minded brands such as Kathmandu.
