Kempa will be the new official supplier of the German Handball Federation (DHB) from July 1.
The five year deal revives a partnership that came to an end on 2007.
“We’re picking up exactly where we left off,” says Karsten Dormann, managing director of uhlsport GmbH.
“We look forward to working with the DHB with our handball expertise and great team spirit.
“We see a close working relationship within our partnership, particularly in the development and design of the jerseys and merchandise collection.”
With 830,000 members, 4,500 clubs and 30,000 teams, DHB is the world’s largest handball federation.
“The Kempa brand has been with German handball through one of its most successful periods,” says DHB president Ulrich Strombach.
“We look forward to this new collaboration, for which the majority of the committee was in favour.”
The new DHB collection will be presented for the first time in summer 2013.
Fans of the German national teams can look forward to high quality materials paired with unique designs.
