Lotto has confirmed it is the technical sponsor of the second Clericus Cup, a 16-team tournament for priests and seminarists. The company will supply the balls and match kit, including shirts, shorts and socks, for over 300 players taking part in the competition.
Says Alberto Landi, marketing director of Lotto Sport Italia: “Our participation in this project has its roots in the company’s culture. Lotto has always interpreted sport as commitment, loyalty and, above all, the tool that is able to cross social, political and geographical boundaries.”
This year’s Clericus Cup kicked off on November 20 at the Marmi Stadium in Rome. The final takes place on May 3, 2008.
