Molten is to renew its sponsorship of Basketball Ireland in September.
The deal means the brand’s 12-panel basketball will remain the exclusive official ball for Basketball Ireland for all international and domestic games, including schools, colleges and universities.
Under the terms of the agreement, Molten will also provide Basketball Ireland with a range of basketballs, plus additional funding to support the organisation’s development work.

“We have established an excellent relationship with the organisation thus far and, with basketball’s increasing exposure on TV and in the national press, we look forward with anticipation to working with Basketball Ireland in taking the game’s profile to a new level in the coming years.
“The sponsorship renewal is also an excellent opportunity for us to establish firmly the Molten brand throughout Ireland, not only in basketball, but in football, volleyball and handball as well.”
