Colin Montgomerie has signed a contract to wear a selection of Galvin Green’s lightweight Gore-tex weatherwear garments at tournaments this year.
“I was looking for the best and most technical weatherwear products available and the Galvin Green range is simply outstanding,” says Montgomerie, the first European player to feature in five successive Ryder Cup teams and remain unbeaten in eight singles matches against the Americans, dating back to 1991.
Says Mick Johnson-Hill, Galvin Green’s general manager in the UK and Ireland: “Having a great golfing ambassador like Colin wear some of our latest lightweight waterproofs is a real honour for Galvin Green and will only enhance the brand’s reputation.”
Other Tour players wearing Galvin Green on contracts include Joakim Haeggman, Simon Dyson, Peter Hanson, Graeme Storm and Jamie Donaldson.
