MoveGB ranked third In The Deloitte Technology Fast 50

MoveGB commonly known as Move, the ‘every activity membership’ created by serial entrepreneur, Alister Rollins, has become the UK’s third fastest growing business in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 following a revenue growth of 6,053% over the past four years.

Move is now the UK’s largest activity marketplace with 300,000 users and over 5,500 physical activity providers. While exercise is fast becoming a permanent daily fixture for most, the drop off rate in commitment is higher than ever. Research carried out by Move revealed that individuals who visit multiple venues to exercise are four times more likely to be active six months after joining than those who visit single gym venues.

Designed around the user, Move provides unlimited access to 1,000s of local venues, UK wide. Integrating every activity to get you moving whenever, wherever with no restrictions and no barriers, just the freedom to find activities users enjoy. A proven model that seems to be working with Movers, as they remain active four times longer than single venue users, and with double the visit frequency.

The platform gives members the daily freedom to mix up their activity and choose to workout in ways that they love.

Each year, Deloitte pays tribute to the fastest-growing technology companies for their entrepreneurial achievements with its Technology Fast 50 award. The annual competition, which began in the United States in 1995, is now held in various countries and regions worldwide. The award honours above-average growth rates in addition to a company’s own technology developments.

Move secured third place following a revenue growth of 6,053% and as a result of their commitment to making fitness accessible and flexible through innovative ideas and technology.

The rapid growth of the company reflects how consumers have warmly received this innovative new fitness concept – their popularity is clear in their continuous expansion within the UK, breaking into the competitive London fitness scene in September and reporting 10,000s of users already signed up. The future holds international ambitions for Move with a pilot live in NYC and active research into the Chinese fitness market.

Alister Rollins, founder and CEO of Move said: “We are just at the start of our journey so to be in the top three fastest growing business in the UK already is very exciting for us. Our growth is credit to the passion and hard work from everyone here at Move.”
