“My business is a load of balls,” Derek Price tells the BBC

Derek Price, owner of Price of Bath, is the last surviving tennis ball maker in the UK, and he’s explained to the BBC how his business keeps bouncing back against tough competition from Asia.

Price says: “All my old-time competitors are all gone, but we survived because I gave all my time and energy to make changes and to think of new products.

“In fact, business is very slowly growing – the secret is we have gone in for niche tennis ball manufacturing.”
