Global athletic leader, New Balance has announced the launch of its latest campaign ‘Every Runner Has A Reason’, which aims to dispel any and all myths around what it means to be a runner.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner who has a number of marathons under their belt or an accidental runner who runs when late for work, the latest campaign from New Balance is here to celebrate each and every runner and explore the reasons behind why they run.
To further tell these stories and engage those who may not realise they are indeed a runner, New Balance has launched a video featuring Charles Alabi who is seen running after his takeaway delivery, Max Ainsworth who runs to catch his bus, Alicia Morrin running to put the bins out and Rachel Adele Bosworth chasing her dog in the park. Samantha Matthews, Senior Marketing Manager UK & IRE at New Balance said ‘New Balance believes running is for everyone and we want to dispel any myths or stigma around people who may not class themselves as a runner. To us, if you run for any reason, you are a runner, you are part of our community and we want to celebrate you and your reasons for running, whatever they may be.’
To engage runners, New Balance has launched a new Strava challenge which asks participants to run 30K between 17th January – 13th February 2022. Those who complete the challenge will receive a 10% discount code for www.newbalance.com and will also be in with the chance of winning a place in one of the following events:
– The Vitality London 10,000 2022
– The Vitality Westminster Mile 2022
– The Big Half 2022
– TCS London Marathon 2022
