New Euro Hi-Tec president

Following the recent departure of David Goulding, Hi-Tec CEO Martin Binnendijk (pictured) has decided to take on the role of president of Hi-Tec Europe.

Binnendijk joined Hi-Tec in 2002 and his prime objectives were to make the company a more consistent, brand-focused operation. Five years on, the company has been transformed and both the Hi-Tec and Magnum brands are enjoying healthy global growth.

After the initial centralising of the group’s design and development functions and marketing activities, Binnendijk focused on the company’s infrastructure in the Far East, which involved various manufacturing and sourcing projects. He has also been instrumental in the opening of Hi-Tec China.

In his new role, Binnendijk is planning to focus on further integration in order to optimise service and efficiencies for the company’s customers and fuel the continued growth of the Hi-Tec and Magnum brands in Europe.
