Moving into 2017, the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation, launches its brand renewal with a contemporary interpretation of the original IMMAF logo.
The refreshed logo constitutes a minimalistic rendering of the icon and incorporates the blue primary brand colour.
As part of the brand refresh, IMMAF is gifting its 65 affiliated national MMA federations with counterpart country logos. These maintain the essence of the international IMMAF logo by using its trademark typeface as well as its globe icon – the two core elements of IMMAF’s visual identity.
IMMAF President Kerrith Brown said: “The new brand identities will serve as badges of verification and authenticity for legitimate IMMAF members, and visually connect the extended IMMAF family worldwide, celebrating our shared achievements in the development of the sport of MMA, from the grassroots right through to elite Amateur and Professional levels.”
In addition to this, the IMMAF, is adopting a new set of championship logos to complement its international tournament series. A set colour is dedicated to the World Championships and each continental open, making the events instantly recognisable by region.
