New look buying show for INTERSPORT UK

The Q3 2009 buying show for INTERSPORT members takes place on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday, January 7 at Cranmore Park (pictured), INTERSPORT’s exclusive exhibition centre in Solihull.

The start of a new year marks the launch of a number of positive changes for INTERSPORT UK, initiated by recently appointed general manager, Barry Mellis. The first of these will be made evident to both members and suppliers alike, with a new ‘wow factor’ approach to the structure of the show.

“One of the core benefits of being an INTERSPORT member is the opportunity to attend the four product shows that we run each year at our fantastic facilities at HQ,” says Mellis. “For our Q3 2009 show we want to ring the changes and evolve the content and outcome of the two days. The brands are extremely supportive and very enthusiastic about the whole new look and feel.”

Twenty-nine major brands, including six ‘showcase’ brands looking to become INTERSPORT suppliers, have already registered to exhibit their product ranges to buyers from INTERSPORT UK stores. In addition, independent retailers interested in joining the group will be attending the two-day show for the first time. A third day, Thursday, January 8, is dedicated exclusively to INTERSPORT’s own branded products.
