Selk’bag, the pioneering brand known for its wearable sleeping bags, is launching its latest innovation: The Swytch, a new design that brings insulation versatility and comfort to the world of outdoor gear. Available in three styles and designed for everything from family camping holidays to festival trips, or simply lounging at home, the Selk’bag Swytch stylishly adds practical function to the brand’s original iconic product.
The key new feature of the Swytch is the mid-body zip, which allows users to easily split the garment into two parts: A cosy jacket and a separate bottom half. This design has a very practical purpose, making it easy to answer nature’s call while using a Selk’bag, without having to remove the entire suit. And when the full bag is not needed, the top half can be worn as a standalone jacket, delivering the signature comfort and warmth of Selk’bag.
Selk’bag has introduced several other new features with the Swytch, including: A softer, more luxurious hand-feel; waist adjustment; and a larger, adjustable hood, to ensure a perfect fit, whether using it as a jacket or as a full wearable sleeping bag. The new straighter zip design also eliminates snags, making it easier than ever to put on and take off.
Available in three versions, the Pro, Original and Lite, the Selk’bag Swytch is designed to meet the needs of every outdoor adventurer who values warmth and comfort. The Pro features an insulated adjustable hood, balaclava, removable booties and dual zips for ease of use, while the Original provides the perfect balance of warmth and flexibility. The Lite has a lower weight, but maintains the same level of comfort, making it ideal for those who want a more minimalist option.
Sustainability remains at the core of Selk’bag’s ethos. The Swytch is crafted from 100% recycled materials across all models, reinforcing Selk’bag’s commitment to eco-friendly practices. The Pro version features Primaloft® insulation, which is warm, water-resistant, and made from 100% recycled materials. All versions of the Swytch are equipped with SBS® recycled zippers and are fully PFAS-free, ensuring each bag delivers both high performance and environmental responsibility.
The Selk’bag Swytch Pro will come in Volcan Navy, the Original in Azul Midnight, Pasto Green and Maipo Burgundy, while colour options for the Lite will be Cobalt Blue, Damasco Teal and Cobre Black.
