In recognition of technology’s importance to sport, the Sport Industry Awards 2008 has introduced a new category to reward such advancements – The Lenovo Technological Innovation in Sport Award.
In considering nominations for the new award, the Sport Industry Awards judges will be looking for a technology-driven product or service that shows a demonstrable benefit to a sport and its participants, as well as proving commercially successful for the company concerned. Effective marketing of the product and a real innovation in its premise will also be foremost in the judges’ thoughts.
