North Sails unveils Spring/Summer collection, featuring iconic Sailor Jacket and 3 new ambassadors
North Sails, international sailmaker and lifestyle apparel brand, has debuted the SS23 editions of its iconic Sailor Jacket, featuring fresh colours and a bold take for the new season.
The Spring/Summer collection features three new ambassadors as a continuation of its We Are North Sails campaign. Each represents a bold personality, brave-voice and connection to the ocean, mirroring the key elements underpinning North Sails’ brand heritage.
Tom Bridge, Pro Kiteboarder – was born into a family of kitesurfers from Devon, England, and could unhook and land blind aged 7, dominating the Freestyle scene ever since. He is three-time Youth Freestyle world champion and through his family and sport has been connected to the ocean for as long as he can remember.
Lizzie Daly, Filmmaker and environmentalist: She is a biologist, public speaker and wildlife presenter aiming to encourage people to get involved in scientific endeavours by producing her own adventure wildlife films. She believes it’s time we take care of our ocean – the lifeblood of the earth and an ecosystem we rely so heavily on.
Andreas B. Heide, Professional sailor and marine biologist: he owns S.V. Barba, a marine conservation platform aiming to advance the protection of Arctic waters through storytelling and scientific exploration. He has a background as a military diver and naval officer, MSC in Marine biology and extensive experience working with and for the ocean. He joins as Spring’s third and final ambassador, as North Sails continues its journey to protect and preserve the health of the ocean we love, modelling Ocean Positive values.
