Following the success of the 2019 event, the organisers of the Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) have announce the date of the 2020 show.
The event will take place on will take place from July 7-9, the week after OutDoor by ISPO (June 28-July 1).
OTS will be hosted, once again, at EventCity, Manchester. It has been confirmed that OTS 2020 will be the very last exhibition to take place on the current site.
Peel Holdings, which own the venue, will be closing EventCity on its present site, leasing it to a developer and moving to a brand-new location within the Trafford Park complex – the current site of the Soccer Dome (on the other side of the Chill Factore, indoor ski slope) which is being completely re-developed to offer a bespoke state of the art exhibition complex and is due to be operational by September 2020.
OTS 2019 was hailed a success by all, with 990 trade visitors attending the show over the three-day period, representing a four per cent increase from 2018, an increase of 12 per cent since the show moved to EventCity and reaffirms the decision to move to Manchester. Furthermore, the real highlight of the show is that OTS 2019 saw a 27 per cent increase from retail buyers and owners compared to 2018.
This year also saw the highest number of exhibitors with 131 attending the show. These included a complete mix of new and well-established brands, distributors, agencies and service providers, showcasing a range of products and services all dedicated to the outdoor industries.
