Polar have launched their new H10 heart rate sensor.
It is is sold together with the Polar Pro Strap and is now available in the official Polar webstore.
The Polar H10 provides advanced heart rate monitoring and features an entirely new measuring algorithm.
While, the Polar Pro Strap includes extra interference-preventing electrodes to ensure heart rate is captured accurately.
The strap is made of a comfortable, textile material and includes slip-preventing silicone dots and a secure buckle to keep it firmly in place.
Marco Suvilaakso, chief strategy officer at Polar, said: “Polar H10 continues the vast success of Polar H7, our previous heart rate sensor which is famous for its accuracy. The new algorithm and extra electrodes make Polar H10 even more accurate.
“In terms of connectivity, Polar H10 offers a wide range of possibilities, and we are extremely proud to introduce our latest achievement.“
Polar H10 works with all Bluetooth compatible Polar watches and trackers.
When used with Polar Beat, Polar’s free fitness and training app, there is a built-in memory for heart rate data from one training session, that allows users to track heart rate without having their phone nearby.
This data can then be transferred across to Polar Beat afterwards.
Polar H10 also works with leading fitness apps, compatible gym equipment and many other Bluetooth devices.
This is also Polar’s first heart rate sensor to introduce over-the-air software updates via the Polar Beat and Polar Flow apps.
