PR Agency One gets fighting fit with new account win

Award-winning PR Agency One, has been appointed by Total Fitness to help the brand strengthen its position as the North’s leading mid-market health club.

Total Fitness believes everyone is better fitter and is passionate about offering variety of exercise to its 95,000 members with more ways to get fit and stay in shape, in a supportive environment.

Following a year of impressive business turnaround, led by new CEO Sophie Lawler, the organisation has recruited the Manchester-based PR agency to make it known that the business is back on the track to success.
PR Agency One will implement a clear cut communications strategy to boost the brand’s positive presence across all consumer and leisure trade platforms with a particular focus on developing its offering, aligning with the brand’s 17 clubs across the North of England and Wales.

The agency will focus on building brand awareness and membership base amongst target demographics and looks to increase customer acquisition through a hard-working link building strategy.

As the original performance PR specialists, PR Agency One will measure the organisational impact of the communications activity through its suite of proprietary evaluation products.

James Crawford, managing director at PR Agency One, said: “Total Fitness has turned to us for our sport, health and leisure expertise and joins – most notably – Decathlon on our roster. We have a unique mix of corporate reputation experience and consumer PR savvy that means we’re perfectly placed to support the gym chain on its journey.

“Total Fitness has been going through an incredibly positive transformation since the new CEO took over last year. Having strengthened its internal teams and facilities the next logical step is to get their communications back on the straight and narrow to boost brand awareness, perception and visibility.”
