Prosperity Day 2018 – Bkool and Prosperity 24/7 partner for charity event

Channel Islands tech business, Prosperity 24/7 is teaming up with cycling tech company, Bkool, to host their fourth annual Prosperity Day event in St. Helier to raise money for local charities.

As a fun way to engage in friendly competition, 18 corporate rivals from the area have been invited to compete “head to head to head” on Bkool’s turbo bike trainers with 3D race technology.

From 9amto 4.30pm today, there will be a series of exciting 30 minute three-way races which will see participants race against each other on stages of the Tour De France.

Competitors will be able to experience the full realism of different cycling routes and terrains all over the world, whilst venting their fury to competitors and cheering on their teammates. Put simply, you can ride a bike, shout at each other, #VentYourFury and have fun, all whilst raising money for a good cause!

This year’s chosen local charities are the British Heart Foundation and Jersey Cheshire Home and 100% of the donations will be equally distributed between the two. With the goal of raising £24,700, each corporate team can help achieve this goal, as well as earn points by donating to the charities and performing well in the race. Following the completion of the event, a prize ceremony will take place at The Museum Brasserie.
“We’re so excited to be a part of such a brilliant event put on by Prosperity 24/7,” said Jorge Serrano, Marketing Director of Bkool. “Not only do we get to contribute to a charitable cause, but we also get to share our passion for cycling with others.”

Chris Clark, Prosperity 24/7 CEO, said: “We are firm believers in supporting the local community and feel passionately about helping others. We are thrilled to be able to again partner with Bkool to deliver a day of light-hearted cycling challenges with the goal of enabling local businesses to compete with each other for two phenomenal charities.”

Over the past three years, Prosperity Day has raised over £50,000 for local charities and can anticipate another successful turnout this June.

While all the slots are taken on race day, you can make a significant difference to these two worthy causes, every donation helps to either save lives or to support them – https://race-nation.com/donate/599
