The Rugby Football Union (RFU) today announced that its long-term partnership with leading commercial real estate services and investment firm CBRE will continue for another four years.
CBRE’s relationship with the RFU dates back to 2014.
The new four-year agreement will see CBRE continue to provide property consultancy and advisory services, as well as significant upgrade and improvement works to Twickenham Stadium. These works include the replacement of the East Stand roof and the development of the RFU’s long-term sustainability and energy management strategy plus its facilities management services.
Simon Massie-Taylor, RFU Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are delighted to extend our relationship with CBRE for another four years. We have built a strong partnership since we started working together in 2014 and we look forward to continuing to work with CBRE to ensure Twickenham Stadium continues to be a world-class venue for years to come.”
Ciaran Bird, CBRE Divisional President, Advisory Services, CEO UK & Ireland, added: “We are delighted to have extended our partnership with the RFU. We have a long-standing association with sport and champion the attributes it brings to the professional environment. We are looking forward to working with the RFU to help them deliver a more sustainable future.”
