As part of the agreement the England Sevens hooker will endorse the brand’s range of rugby and lifestyle clothing.
He will also wear Canterbury’s headguards and boots during the HSBC Sevens World Series 2013/14.
Vickerman says: “I’m delighted to become an ambassador for such a world renowned rugby brand as Canterbury.
“The quality of the products and the traditional values of the company are something I’m excited to be involved with.”
Canterbury’s CEO Chris Stephenson says: “The agreement comes in the midst of our four-year partnership with the RFU, which will see Rob wearing Canterbury kit while on international duty across the globe with the England team through the HSBC Sevens World Series.”
